ABOUT
The Annual RMSAWWA/RMWEA Student Research Conference is a forum for undergraduate and graduate students to present water-related research and design projects to their peers and to science and engineering professionals. The conference fosters networking among students, engineering and consulting firms, local utilities, and university faculty within the Rocky Mountain region. We are welcoming and encouraging a broad range of presentation and research topics in the areas of water and wastewater. The following are example of topics that will be covered:

DETAILS & SCHEDULE
Due to COVID-19, this year’s conference will be held virtually. This is an opportunity for students that would have been unable to travel to present their research to a wide audience of fellow students and water/environment companies in the Rocky Mountain region.

ABSTRACT INFORMATION & PRIZE DETAILS
Due to the virtual platform, all presentations will follow either of the categories:
Abstract Submission Deadline: March 19, 2021 (Extended March 26, 2021) CLOSED
- Oral Presentation (~20 min, including questions)
- Flash Presentation (~7 min, including questions) - it is recommended you choose this option if you do not have enough data/results to present

NOTE: A panel of judges, consisting of registered industry professionals and professors, will be judging all presentations except for the people's choice award.

SPONSORSHIP
The success of our conference significantly relies on sponsors. A major portion of conference sponsorship will directly support student success. In return, companies or organizations can strengthen visibility to the diverse and talented attendee pool. To help promote networking between students and working professionals, we are currently asking for company participation by hosting online booths on the day of the conference. Per the detailed schedule above, there will be two, 30-minute time slot events and a networking event specifically for participants to attend the virtual booth (breakout room) to ask questions and more.

- Silver $400 - Virtual booth, company recognition on slides between presentations, 2 FREE registrations for professionals hosting the booth
- Gold $600 - Virtual booth, company on slides between presentations, 3 FREE registrations for professionals hosting the booth, and sponsor student prizes
- Build company recognition
- Learn about novel technologies being studied at universities in the Rocky Mountain region
- Meet top student researchers in the water and wastewater disciplines
- Support the student conference and prizes and be recognized throughout the conference
